Enjoy browsing and shopping among the many arts and crafts booths at the San Ramon Art & Wind Festival. This free, family-friendly event highlights approximately 150 talented artists in California and beyond exhibiting and selling their work over Memorial Day weekend. Visitors will enjoy a wide variety of beautifully hand-crafted items including paintings, photographs, jewelry, clothing, pottery, toys and more on display Sunday and Monday, May 26-27, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day at San Ramon Central Park, located at 12501 Alcosta Blvd in San Ramon.

Among the artists showcasing their wares at this year’s show:

Randall Beetle
Studio: Danville
Medium: Photography
His Art: Landscape photography with a passion for both land and sea
Creative Process: “I print all of my images using only high quality equipment and materials.  Every print is made using an Epson inkjet printer and dedicated Epson inks, with high quality glossy or semi-gloss papers. Through my photography I attempt to create images during those brief moments when all of the elements come together in a magical way.” Randall’s matted prints are formatted to fit standard frame sizes: 8x10, 11x14, 16x20 and 18x24.

Deb Cassidy
Studio: Pleasant Hill
Medium: Lavender and linen
Her Art: Beautiful, charming French fabrics in tablecloths, kitchen linens and more, as well as soothing California lavender products including neck wraps, eye pillows and sachets.
Creative Process: Deb’s French tablecloths and kitchen linens show vibrant colors and lively patterns indicative of France's beautiful Provence region. Her tablecloths are available in different fabrics, all machine-washable and colorfast. Deb’s dried lavender products are created with family-grown organic lavender in northern California. Her line of creations includes eye pillows, neck wraps, and sachets for closets, drawers and laundry use.

Melissa Huntsman
Studio: Livermore
Medium: Semi-precious stones, freshwater pearls and Swarovski crystals
Her Art: Jewelry
Creative Process: Melissa began her collection with a simple vision: Create classic, affordable designs that are on par with current trends and fashion. A self-taught jewelry maker, she takes special pride in designing elegant creations that are both whimsical and fashion-forward. In her studio Melissa individually strings, knots, wires and assembles each piece of jewelry. Her clients appreciate knowing that each piece they own is a creation of the designer herself. She uses only real semi-precious stones, freshwater pearls and Swarovski crystals in her work.
