The After School Enrichment classes are conveniently timed so students can attend immediately after school. Students who are attending an After School Enrichment (ASE) class should go to their ASE class location directly after school.

If your child attends the Growing Room, please send your child directly to the class or have an authorized adult sign out the child and bring him/her to the class. Some instructors are able to pick–up from the Growing Room by request, please see the individual course descriptions for availability. All instructors will bring children to the Growing Room at the end of class if requested.

Public Speaking - Debate and Public Speaking Combo (PS 201)
This class is a combo course of Public Speaking with Confidence and Essentials of Debating. It is an excellent course to take, as it not only focuses on teaching delivery and presentation skills but also provides foundation of critical thinking and essentials of debating. With lot of thought-provoking and stimulating topics and exciting activities to write and speak, students learn how to manage public speaking anxiety, present themselves with confidence, how to make strong arguments by providing reasoning and evidence. robotics 101 - RobotED - MarineBOTS
Dive In! Explore the Marine world with robots from the sea and land and learn all about the fundamentals of mechanics like gears, levers, pulleys and cranks. creative writing
Students will learn Lekha's time-tested methods to overcome writer's block while writing short stories, poems, and short skits. Students will be introduced to a variety of fiction and nonfiction genres. They will progress into genre writing and learn how each genre has its own set of particular rules that drive character creation, setting, and plot.

Mad Science - Crazy Chemworks
Use your hands as a real Mad Scientist in this whirlwind class on how a lab works! Students will learn to recognize chemical reactions and mix up a few reactive ingredients for some sensational results. We will explore the pH extremes with our Reaction Tubes in what is sure-to-be a popping experience! Create slime using the Mad Science recipe, and then enter the Slime Olympics to test your polymers. Probe the properties of light and explore some unusual applications of glow-in-the-dark technology! We will melt metal in boiling water and freeze water with just a breath of dry ice!

This course teaches young students the essentials of building confidence in public speaking. The participants learn how to stand tall and speak confidently in front of a large group. They begin to understand the concepts and importance of body language, bringing variation in speed and tone. Kidz Love Soccer
Join us for after-school soccer fun! Each class includes age-appropriate activities: skill demonstrations, fun games and instructional scrimmages. Little Medical School
Little Medical School brings medicine, science, and the importance of health to children in an entertaining, exciting, and fun way. Our after school program encourages children to explore the exciting and inspiring world of medicine. Using interactive demonstrations and games, kids learn how the body and organs work, how to use instruments that real doctors use, administer first aid, and even tie knots like a real surgeon. Each child gets their own stethoscope that really works. A $20 supply fee is payable to the instructor on the first day of class.
