Week #1 (June 24-28) – Solar Science

What’s the most massive object in our solar system? The Sun! Learn all about this hot ball of gas and the other celestial objects in the sky.
Field Trip: Chabot Space and Science Center

Week #2 (July 1-5, no 7/4) – Let's Fly!

Put your wings on and investigate flying animals and objects. Learn how wings of all kinds keep things in the air.

Week #3 (July 8-12) – Ocean Creature Features

Explore the deep blue sea and learn about whales, sharks and tide pool creatures. We’ll also get wet along the way.

Week #4 (July 15-19) – Nature Tech

Learn how the worlds of science and nature collide as we find answers to modern problems in totally unexpected ways.

Week #5 (July 22-26) – Quakes and Shakes

Experience our rockin’ underground world while learning about geology, volcanoes, earthquakes and other things that shake our planet.

Week #6 (July 29-August 2) – My Wild Backyard

Do you know what goes on in your backyard while you are asleep? Investigate all the different creatures that call your back yard home. You’ll be surprised!

Week #7 (August 5-9) – Outback! All About Australia

G’day mates. Visit the land down under and learn all about it’s special habitats, insects, and animals.

Go where the wild things are and learn about special places, traditions and animals of Africa.

Explore the early beginnings of the Golden State including Native American culture and our first pioneers. Visit with our farm animals.
