Senior Express Van
Why drive or walk when you can be picked up at home? The van operates Monday through Friday. Call or sign-up at the front desk 24 hours in advance. Riders must live within San Ramon city limits.
$3 per resident, each way/$2 each way with Encore! Membership.

Shopping Shuttle:
The Center Express Van provides service to local grocery and drug stores. This shuttle will run on the first and third Thursdays only. The service will begin at 10:00am with pick ups at the Center, Sunny Glenn, Villa San Ramon and Valley Vista Apartments. The shuttle will return to your original pick up point by noon. You must sign up 24 hours in advance. Cost is $3 round trip.

Volunteer Services
Senior adult volunteers are vital to our Senior Center. For More Information on volunteering please contact Jessica Reaber at (925) 973-3273 or Email:

Volunteers provide leadership for many activities and contribute 18,000 hours of support during the year. Applications & Job Descriptions are available at the Senior Center front desk for these and other volunteer opportunities:

  • Special Events assistance
  • Inclusion Support personnel
  • Front Desk
  • Kitchen

Why Should I come to the San Ramon Alcosta Senior and Community Center?

  • I can get free health screenings and information at the Annual Health & Wellness Resource Fair
  • I can get free help with my taxes during tax time (February - April) by appointment.

  • I can enjoy a nutritious lunch Monday - Friday for only $2
