Recognizing City Read 2010 "Two Cities, One Tale" – September 13, 2010 - October 18, 2010.  Presented by Mayor Wilson to Town of Danville Mayor Mike Doyle, Danville Community Library Manager Seng Lovan, San Ramon Community Library Manager Kathy Middleton, and San Ramon Library Youth Services Librarian Amy Mockoski.

Proclamation Designating September 20-26, 2010 as Falls Prevention Awareness Week.  Presented to Rebecca Teames, Community Relations Coordinator with Visiting Angels, and Elaine Balke, Fall Prevention Program Assistant, by Mayor Wilson.

Minute Order No. 2010-25 – Authorizing Cm. Hudson to Attend the American Public Transportation Association Annual Meeting in San Antonio, TX on October 3-6, 2010.

Recommendation:  Adopt Minute Order No. 2010-25.

Resolution No. 2010-105 – Authorizing the Mayor to Execute Amendment
No. 2 to the Agreement for Legal Services with Best Best & Krieger LLP to Include an Additional Appropriation of $55,000 for a Total Not to Exceed Contract Amount of $430,000.

Recommendation:  Adopt Resolution No. 2010-105.

Resolution No. 2010-106 – Approving the Appropriation of Funds to the Landscaping & Lighting District No. 1984-1 Zones for Fiscal Year 2010/11 Due to Landscape and Fountain Maintenance Costs.

Recommendation:  Adopt Resolution No. 2010-106.

Resolution No. 2010-109 – Authorizing the Filing of an Application for Federal Surface Program and Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Funding for Alcosta Boulevard Pavement Rehabilitation - Fircrest Lane to San Ramon Valley Boulevard Project; Committing the Necessary Local Match for the Project; and Stating the Assurance to Complete the Project.

Recommendation:  Adopt Resolution No. 2010-109.

Resolution No. 2010-107 – Approving a Project Operating Agreement with the East Bay Regional Communications System Authority and Authorizing Execution of the Agreement by the Mayor.

Resolution No. 2010-108 – Authorizing the Mayor to Execute an Agreement with Consolidated Construction Management for Design-Build Services for Renovation of the Police Headquarters Facility at 2401 Crow Canyon Road. Staff Report by Cheryl Mitchell Wade, Communication and Public Affairs Director.

Recommendation:  Adopt Resolution No. 2010-108.
