Proclamation Designating November 2011 as National Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month.  Presented to Judy Lloyd, Media Representative for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, by Mayor Wilson. 

  5.2 Recognition of Joan Ernst, Recipient of the Culture to Culture Foundation of the Bay Area's Outstanding Senior Volunteer Award. Presented by Mayor Wilson.

5.3

Recognition of ENGEO Incorporated as the Recipient of Entrepreneur.com’s and the Great Place to Work Institute’s Top Ten Best Small Workplaces 2011.  Presented to Uri Eliahu, President of ENGEO Incorporated, by Mayor Wilson.

5.4

Recognition of Jonette Fuentes, Administrative Coordinator, as Employee of the Month for November 2011.  Presentation by Mayor Wilson.

PUBLIC COMMENT

Members of the audience are encouraged to address the City Council on any non-agenda item.  However, no Council action can be taken at this meeting on issues raised during Public Comment.  Those wishing to have an item brought before the City Council for consideration must request so during a City Council meeting.  Upon Council approval, the item will be placed on the Council Policy Committee Agenda for further consideration.

For the first round of Public Comment on non-agenda items, the first five people to submit Public Comment cards to the City Clerk will have three minutes to address the Council on matters not on the agenda.  The Public Comment cards must be submitted to the City Clerk prior to the commencement of the meeting.  Any additional Public Commenters will be accommodated later in the meeting.

Resolution No. 2011-115 – Authorizing the Mayor to Execute Amendment No. 1 to an Existing Agreement with Sansei Gardens, Inc. Amending the Scope and Terms of the Agreement to Include the Construction of the PG&E Corridor Landscaping Project (CIP 5545) in an Amount Not to Exceed $61,600 and a Cumulative Contract Amount Not to Exceed $170,519. Recommendation:  Adopt Resolution No. 2011-115.

Resolution No. 2011-116 – Authorizing the Mayor to Execute an Agreement with Aquatic Environments, Inc. for Pool Equipment Repair and Standby Services in an Annual Amount Not to Exceed $70,000 and a Cumulative Five Year Agreement Amount Not to Exceed $380,000. Staff Report

Recommendation:  Adopt Resolution No. 2011-116.
