Recognition of Quail Run Elementary School students with the Highest Participation Rate for the Fall 2012 Walk Bike Challenge:  Zander Beckman, Saanvi Bhat, Alexander Lee,  Jessica Lee, Ariel Lucas, and Mark Mar.

Recognition of Quail Run Elementary School for Achieving the Highest Number of Participants in the Fall 2012 Walk/Bike Challenge. Presented to Carol Laughlin, Principal, by Lisa Bobadilla, Transportation Division Manager.

PUBLIC COMMENT

Members of the audience are encouraged to address the City Council on any non-agenda item.  However, no Council action can be taken at this meeting on issues raised during Public Comment.  Those wishing to have an item brought before the City Council for consideration must request so during a City Council meeting.  Upon Council approval, the item will be placed on the Council Policy Committee Agenda for further consideration.

For the first round of Public Comment on non-agenda items, the first five people to submit Public Comment cards to the City Clerk will have three minutes to address the Council on matters not on the agenda.  The Public Comment cards must be submitted to the City Clerk prior to the commencement of the meeting.  Any additional Public Commenters will be accommodated later in the meeting.

Minute Order No. 2013-001 – Authorizing Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement (C2010-012) with FTN Financial Main Street Advisors, LLC for Investment Advisory Services for Two Additional Years Not to Exceed $48,000 for a Total Cumulative Contract Amount Not to Exceed $120,000. Staff Report

Recommendation:  Adopt Minute Order No. 2013-001.

Minute Order No. 2013-002 – Authorizing Approval of a Purchasing Agreement with P&R Paper Supply to Provide Janitorial Supplies to the Public Services Department in a Cumulative Five Year Agreement Total Not to Exceed $500,000. Staff Report

Minute Order No. 2013-003 – Approval of Field Naming Rights Policy for the Central Park Synthetic Turf Field Project (CIP No. 5558) and Authorizing the Public Services Director to Negotiate Terms and Conditions on Behalf of the City for a Field Naming Rights Agreement with Corporate Donors to the Project. Recommendation:  Adopt Minute Order No. 2013-003.

Resolution No. 2013-001 – Accepting Certain Roadway Dedications, Easements, and Improvements in Subdivision 8952 for Maintenance (Shapell Industries, Inc.). Staff Report

Recommendation:  Adopt Resolution No. 2013-001.

Resolution No. 2013-002 -  Authorizing the Mayor to Execute  Amendment No. 1 to the Existing Contract (C2011-069) with Burr, Pilger, Mayer, Inc. for Audit Services and the Preparation and Reporting of the Annual State Controller’s Report for Two Additional Years in an Amount Not to Exceed $107,250 for Amendment No.1 and a Total Cumulative Contract Amount of $212,950. Recommendation:  Adopt Resolution No. 2013-002.

Public Hearing:  Introduction of Ordinance (next in line) – Amending Sections B8-43 and B8-45 and Repealing Section B8-46 of the City of San Ramon Municipal Code Allowing the Engineering Services Director (or Designee) to Erect Signs and Establishing Speed Limits on Various Road and Streets.

Recommendation:  Introduce Ordinance; Waive Reading and Read by Title Only; Conduct Public Hearing; Set January 22, 2013 for adoption.
