Recognition of the Quality Assurance Committee as Employees of the Month for January 2013:  Nicole Blazin, Christina Buna, Mike Fanelli, Jennifer Gault, and Kathi Heimann by Interim Parks and Community Services Director Karen McNamara.

PUBLIC COMMENT
Members of the audience are encouraged to address the City Council on any non-agenda item.  However, no Council action can be taken at this meeting on issues raised during Public Comment.  Those wishing to have an item brought before the City Council for consideration must request so during a City Council meeting.  Upon Council approval, the item will be placed on the Council Policy Committee Agenda for further consideration.

For the first round of Public Comment on non-agenda items, the first five people to submit Public Comment cards to the City Clerk will have three minutes to address the Council on matters not on the agenda.  The Public Comment cards must be submitted to the City Clerk prior to the commencement of the meeting.  Any additional Public Commenters will be accommodated later in the meeting.

Ordinance No. 435 – Amending Sections B8-43 and B8-45 and Repealing Section B8-46 of the City of San Ramon Municipal Code Allowing the Engineering Services Director (or Designee) to Erect Signs and Establishing Speed Limits on Various Road and Streets. Staff Report

Recommendation:  Adopt Ordinance No. 435.

Minute Order No. 2013-004 – Accepting the Work by Landscape Structures, Inc. and Robertson Industries, Inc. for the Athan Downs Playground Renovation (CIP 5423) as Complete and Authorizing the City Clerk to File a Notice of Completion for Each Contractor with the County Recorder's Office. Staff Report

Recommendation:  Adopt Minute Order No. 2013-004.

Resolution No. 2013-003 – Authorizing the Mayor to enter into an Agreement with AECOM for the preparation of Environmental Documents for the revised Faria Preserve Project in an Amount Not to Exceed $175,300. Staff Report

Recommendation:  Adopt Resolution No. 2013-003.

Resolution No. 2013-004 – Authorizing Staff to Submit a Grant Application to the Metropolitan Transportation Commission for Transportation Development Act Grant Funds for Sidewalk Enhancement on Blue Fox Way. Staff Report
