Recommendation:  Approve Register of Demands.

Minute Order No. 2013-024 – City Council Designation of Cm. O’Loane as a Voting Delegate Alternate to the League of California Cities 2013 Annual Conference. Staff Report

Recommendation:  Adopt Minute Order No. 2013-024.

 

4.3

Resolution No. 2013-081 – Rejecting the Bid from Higgins & Lovett Construction and Authorizing the Mayor to Execute an Agreement with World Priority for the Construction of the San Ramon Olympic Pool Gas Chlorine Conversion Project (CIP 5565) in an Amount Not to Exceed $214,500. Staff Report

Recommendation:  Adopt Resolution No. 2013-081.

Resolution No. 2013-082 – Authorizing the Filing of a Grant Application for Funding Assigned to Metropolitan Transportation Commission and Committing Matching Funds and Stating the Assurance to Complete the San Ramon School Crossing Enhancement Project for $247,892 (CIP 5413). Staff Report

Recommendation:  Adopt Resolution No. 2013-082.

Resolution No. 2013-083 – Authorizing the Mayor to Execute an Agreement  with Universal Building Services to Provide Parking Lot Street Sweeping Services in an Initial Annual Amount Not to Exceed $29,490 and to Enter Into Subsequent Amendments for a Cumulative Five-Year Agreement Total Not to Exceed $200,000. Staff Report

Recommendation:  Adopt Resolution No. 2013-083.

Resolution No. 2013-084 – Accepting Certain Landscape Dedications and Landscape Improvements for Maintenance in Subdivision 8952 (Shapell Industries, Inc.). Staff Report

Recommendation:  Adopt Resolution No. 2013-084.

 

4.7

Resolution No. 2013-085 - Upholding Planning Commission Resolution No. 06-13 and Adopting the Initial Study/Negative Declaration (IS 12-250-003), the Subsequent Addendum and Hereby Approving the Mixed Use Development Associated with Vesting Tentative Map 9323 (Major Subdivision 12-900-01); Development Plan 12-300-003; Architectural Review 12-200-038; Variance 13-320-001 for Wall Height; and Minor Use Permit 13-501-018 for 6 Live/Work and 42 Townhome Units Located at 125 and 130 Ryan Industrial Court (APN: 208-280-017 and 208-280-018). Recommendation:  Adopt Resolution No. 2013-085.

Proclamation Designating September 22-28, 2013 as Falls Prevention Awareness Week.  Presented by Susan Chen, Senior Advisory Committee, to Chris Bybee, Advocate with Senior Helpers.

 

5.2

Recognition of Maintenance Coordinator Thomas Cooney, Maintenance Technician II Andy Baptista, Maintenance Coordinator Brent Scroggs, and Maintenance Specialist Chris Southwick as Employees of the Month for September 2013.

 

5.3

Presentation by Contra Costa County District Attorney Mark Peterson.

Members of the audience are encouraged to address the City Council on any non-agenda item.  However, no Council action can be taken at this meeting on issues raised during Public Comment.  Those wishing to have an item brought before the City Council for consideration must request so during a City Council meeting.  Upon Council approval, the item will be placed on the Council Policy Committee Agenda for further consideration.

For the first round of Public Comment on non-agenda items, the first five people to submit Public Comment cards to the City Clerk will have three minutes to address the Council on matters not on the agenda.  The Public Comment cards must be submitted to the City Clerk prior to the commencement of the meeting.  Any additional Public Commenters will be accommodated later in the meeting.
