MINUTES OF THE
CITY OF SAN RAMON – COUNCIL MEETING

February 8, 2010

A special meeting of the City Council of the City of San Ramon was held February 8, 2011 at 5:34 p.m. in the City Council Chamber at City Hall, 2222 Camino Ramon, Mayor Wilson presiding.
PRESENT:  Councilmembers Hudson, Livingstone, Perkins, Rowley, and Mayor Wilson.
STAFF PRESENT:  City Clerk Patricia Edwards.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

Mayor Wilson led those present in the pledge of allegiance.

INTERVIEWS FOR THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY COUNCIL ON AGING APPLICANTS

The City Clerk provided the staff report.  Applications were received from Mary Dunne, Laura Ferree, and Jessica Theus.  The applicants were interviewed by the Council on February 8, 2011.  The City Clerk provided direction and distributed ballots.  The Council voted and the City Clerk tabulated the ballots.  Mayor Wilson stated that he would announce the results at the regular City Council meeting.

CITY COUNCIL APPOINTMENT

Contra Costa County Council on Aging Appointment

At the regular February 8, 2011 City Council meeting, Mayor Wilson announced that Laura Ferree received sufficient votes to be appointed.  Vice Mayor Perkins’ motion to recommend Laura Ferree to the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors to represent San Ramon on the Contra Costa County Council on Aging for a term expiring September 2013 was seconded by Cm. Livingstone and passed 5-0.  Mayor Wilson thanked all of the candidates for applying.

At 6:25 p.m., there being no further business, Mayor Wilson adjourned the meeting.
