MINUTES OF THE
CITY OF SAN RAMON COUNCIL MEETING
June 11, 2013

A special meeting of the City Council of the City of San Ramon was held on June 11, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chamber at City Hall, 2222 Camino Ramon, Mayor Clarkson presiding.
PRESENT:  Councilmembers Hudson, Livingstone, O’Loane, and Mayor Clarkson.
ABSENT:  Councilmember Perkins.
STAFF PRESENT:  City Clerk Patricia Edwards.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

City Clerk Patricia Edwards led those present in the pledge of allegiance.

INTERVIEW APPLICANTS FOR THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY LIBRARY COMMISSION

The City Clerk reported that applications were received from Penny Prater and Brigette Quichocho by the April 26, 2013 deadline.  Ms. Prater was available to be interviewed on June 11, 2013.  Ms. Quichocho was not available for this interview date and asked that the Council consider her application for the Commission.

CITY COUNCIL APPOINTMENTS – CONTRA COSTA COUNTY LIBRARY COMMISSION

After the interview, the City Clerk distributed the ballots.  The Council voted and the City Clerk tabulated the ballots.  Mayor Clarkson announced that Ms. Prater was unanimously selected.  Cm. O’Loane’s motion to appoint Penny Prater to the Contra Costa County Library Commission for a two year term ending in June 2015 was seconded by Cm. Livingstone and passed 4-0-1-0 vote.  Cm. Perkins was absent. 

There being no further business, Mayor Clarkson adjourned the meeting at 6:14 p.m.
