The Housing Program provides assistance to the City Council in the development of housing policies and programs which will facilitate the production of single-family, multi-family, and special needs housing that is affordable to all household income levels of the community. Housing monitors federal, state and local compliance of affordable housing agreements, and provides staff support to the Housing Advisory Committee which works to develop policies and programs in compliance with the voter adopted Housing Element of the General Plan.
