Bike to Work Day
Posted on 04/15/2019
The City and the Bishop Ranch Transportation Center will celebrate the Bay Area’s 25th Annual Bike to Work Day on Thursday, May 9th, by hosting an Energizer Station on the Iron Horse Trail at Bollinger Canyon Road from 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.  Bicyclists will be able to enjoy refreshments such as breakfast burritos, coffee, and snacks.  Bicyclists will receive giveaways and the regional Bike to Work Day canvas bags. In addition, Sports Basement will be on-site providing minor bike repairs. The Bay Area Bike to Work Day promotes bicycling as a green form of transportation that is healthy and fun. Bike to Work Day is supported by 511, 511 Contra Costa, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission and regional support from the Bay Area Air Quality Management District and BART, as well as from many sponsors at the local level.

Get in your gear, plan to ride your bike, and join us as we celebrate 25 years of the Bay Area’s Bike to Work Day. More information on the Bay Area Bike to Work celebration and a list of all energizer stations can be found at: https://511contracosta.org/bike-to-work-day-2019/.
