MTC Pothole Report


The Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) has released a report on pavement conditions in the Bay Area. The data indicates that the average pavement condition index (PCI) for Bay Area streets is 67, based on a three-year average. The report notes a gradual improvement of four points over the last 15 years and highlights the need for continued funding of street maintenance. Per MTC, San Ramon’s pavements remain in among the top for the Bay Area rating in the “very good” range with a three-year average of 80. It should be noted that the current PCI for San Ramon is 78.
