SRPD Polar Plunge Team

On Saturday, March 23, 2019, the “SRPD Freeze Poleeze” team participated in the Special Olympics of Northern California – Santa Cruz Polar & Puppy Plunge. Our very own San Ramon Police Department team dedicated themselves to raising money to “plunge with a purpose.” This year’s purpose was to encourage inclusion for individuals with intellectual disabilities. #inclusionrevolution

The “SRPD Freeze Poleeze” team raised nearly $3,460 dollars, winning first place in the Law Enforcement Division category. They were also able to take home first prize in the Puppy Plunge portion of the event. Competing in the Puppy Plunge Contest was Service Dog Rudy, as well as four little Paw Patrol pups! What a cute little team they were! Definitely a big hit with the crowd and it was a great way to honor former San Ramon Police K-9 Hector’s memory.

Look for us again next year as we take the plunge for Special Olympics of Northern California. We would love to have you join our team!
