New softball League
San Ramon will be offering a new softball league in the fall season.
5x5x5 softball brings a fresh spin to the game we've played for generation but with a twist.

For the 5x5x5 league, a team needs as few as 5 players (or as many as 10). Each game features 3 teams going head-to-head-to-head - one starting the game with the 4 outfielders (OF) and the pitcher (P), the second with the 4 infielders (IF) and the catcher (C), and the third batting. The teams rotate each inning with the OF & P moving to IF & C, IF & C moving in to bat, and the batters moving to the OF & P. With 9 outs each inning, games are only 5 innings.

What does this mean for you? For managers, the smaller rosters lessen the burden of having to find enough players to commit to a league. It effectively cuts the number of players needed in half. For players, it is a lot more at bats, a lot more action and a whole lot of fun. Check out the league on our demo night on July 11 and July 18, 2019.
