This year anyone who is attending an After School Enrichment (ASE) class should go to their ASE class location directly after school.  We no longer have an intermediate meeting location.  To find the ASE class location, click on the link below. There is one exception.  If your student is an “early bird” and was released from school more than 15 minutes before the class starts and attends Kids Country or Growing Room, then our staff will sign him/her out of Kids Country or Growing Room and bring them to the ASE class location.

TechnoKids
Become a TechnoKid! Learn the fundamentals of Microsoft Excel through a fun and interesting project. This session we will do TECHNOBIZ. Students analyze candy preferences to develop a plan to improve candy sales. Emphasis is placed on learning spreadsheet skills including how to organize, graph and calculate data. No class 10/11.

Kids Ceramics & Sculpture
Express yourself through the amazing world of sculpture and ceramics! The basic principles of hand building, sculpting and glazing will be taught. Watercolor Drawing & Composition
Drawing, watercolor painting and composition come together as you create a beautiful seascape, landscape, and portrait. Discover watercolor techniques and application, while learning some of the concepts of composition. Fantasy Art Drawing
Dragons, fairies, and talking trees accompany real animals in the quest for improving your technical drawing skills! Discover what drawing aspects need to be included when drawing each background. Work will start in pencil and ink and then build texture with paint in some of the pieces. Includes a hardbound journal and guide for you to continue your work at home. $18 materials fee. No class 11/23.

One on One Hoops

LEGO Engineering
Design and build motorized machines, catapults, pyramids, demolition derby cars, truss and suspension bridges, buildings, and other constructions. Explore concepts in physics, mechanical engineering, structural engineering, and architecture while playing with your favorite creations. This is a hands-on and minds-on class suitable for LEGO® building system novices to 'maniacs.' Returning students will work on new projects and challenges. No class 10/13.

Drama for Kids
Come be in a show! Each week we'll learn acting, singing, and dancing as we rehearse a musical. Mad Science: Engineering Mania
Gravity... Inertia... Centripetal force... who could ever imagine that an introduction to physics could be so much fun? We'll experience aerodynamics, air pressure, and gravity through hands on experiments. Learn how combinations of shapes, like triangles, cylinders and arches, make sturdy homes, bridges and skyscrapers. We'll use everyday objects to apply the concepts of work, force and friction before designing and building simple machines. There's so much packed into this class you won't want to miss it! Hip Hop Dance

Fridays

Karate
We are dedicated to teaching young people self-defense and safety awareness while building their self esteem. Our program includes fun high-activity training including how to block, punch and kick. We also have special games to develop concentration and teamwork. Participants will gain strength, flexibility, agility coordination and self control. No class 10/15, 11/5, 11/12 & 11/26.
