PRESCHOOL CAMPS

CREATE, FORM, SCULPT CAMP

Create, Form, Sculpt Camp Confirmation
Instructor: Sharon Barker
Construct hand-made art by molding and building with a wide variety of materials. We will use paper, clay, stamps, cardboard, wood and colorful wires to design objects to create one-of-a-kind treasures such as a q-tip orb, put together a jellyfish, assemble a CD turtle, and make shrink-dinks. We will review basic clay techniques and one of our projects will actually be a kiln-fired piece to take home. Please bring a small snack each day. $25 Materials Fee.

Young ladies and gentlemen take a voyage back in time while our activities include painting a life-size castle to play in and protect all week! We will decorate our own treasure chest, and craft some lovely trinkets to fill it like treasure rocks and jewelry. We will go on a treasure hunt and use our finds to make a beautiful collage. Shiny and sparkly paint will be used to design our own personalized illustrations. $25 Materials Fee.

Old MacDonald had a farm and so does San Ramon! Come enjoy a week of camp at Forest Home Farms, City of San Ramon's Historic Park. We'll learn about farm life, try some old-fashioned chores, visit the chickens and sheep, explore organic gardens, create corn and scarecrow art, paint mud on a pig, and make a touch and feel duck. There will also be games, arts & crafts, story time and much more!! $25 Materials fee.

TOTS WHO LOVE TO PAINT

In our week long program we have a blast painting projects on paper, cardboard, boxes, and foam! We use quirky tools like bubble wrap, corks, forks, pasta and tissue to paint with using watercolor paint, glitter paint, shiny, florescent, foamy paint and more. Animals, seasons, fruit and flowers are some of the themes for our art. There are no sneak-peeks until Friday, when we host our own Art Show, for everyone to come and see! $25 Material fee.

SCIENCE BEGINNINGS - BUDDING BIOLOGISTS

This class showcases a wide spectrum of animals and is designed for children who are fascinated with animal biology. They'll learn the life cycle and habitat of insects, super worms, earthworms, crickets, lady bugs and hermit crabs. Also, explore marine animals such as blue crabs, fish and squid. Campers receive a detailed worksheet to take home as well as meal worms, crickets and lady bugs. $10 Materials.

This camp introduces young minds to important scientific concepts through fun and stimulating experiments. Students take home projects and detailed worksheets. Get prepared for things that ooze and bubble. Spectacular dry ice experiments teach you about frozen CO2. Dive into buoyancy and density. Instructor: Tiny Techs Club
A unique program that is aimed at fostering creativity through science and technology and introduces simple engineering and technology concepts in a fun, hands-on way. Custom-designed curriculum shows how gears, pulleys, etc. work, in this fantastic camp! Children will be provided with a kit and a computer to work on - small class size, plenty of help, and one-on-one attention. All children will be taught how to program their robot using simple drag-and-drop programming.

INTO THE GARDEN
We will learn all about how gardens grow, from the very first seedling, to the important roles of sun and rain, to the amazing plants and flowers that sprout and bloom. We will also get acquainted with the many insect inhabitants of their gardens, and how those insects help make their gardens so beautiful. Campers will add daily to a mural reflecting what they've discovered.
