  • Commercial Tenant Improvements - No Change from Existing use - no exterior alterations.
  • Residential Alterations
  • Residential Siding Repair
  • Signs associated with an approved Master Sign Program

Building Division

  • All applications not requiring plan review
  • Minor residential alterations
  • Sign Permits – not requiring engineering review
  • Solar Panels
  • Residential skylights
  • Individual plumbing, electrical and mechanical permits
  • Fireplace repair
  • Termite repair – in like kind
  • Kitchen remodel not removing or altering bearing walls
  • Bathroom remodel not removing or altering bearing walls

Engineering Department

  • Encroachment Permits – not requiring site visit
  • Transportation Permits

24-Hour Review

Drop-off Permits 

  • Water heaters
  • Termite work – in-like kind, no expansion

One Day Review

  • Minor development permits associated with discretionary approval

  • Encroachment permits, involving site visits
  • Routine residential additions up to 200 square feet

Ten Day Review

Planning Division

  • Major Exterior Commercial Alterations
  • Major permits associated with discretionary approvals
  • New single family residence after ARB approval

Building Division

  • Residential Construction
  • Commercial Construction

Engineering Division

  • All applications not done in three day review
  • Retaining walls requiring grading permits
