CrimestoppersCITY OF SAN RAMON, AUGUST 3, 2012

We are asking the public for help in the identification or information that leads to an arrest of the responsible person or persons for a series of arsons to City property. The resulting damage is costing taxpayers thousands of dollars to repair the senseless destruction. Even more unsettling, is the potential for injury to our citizens and first responders. Since March, there have been two deliberate arsons to our park restrooms (Centennial and San Ramon “Tiffany Roberts” Sports Park), along with arson to the restroom at the Library during morning hours. We are partnering with CrimeStoppers which allows anyone to provide information anonymously.

Please call  800-222-TIPS or text baytip to CRIMES.

The San Ramon Police Department is working in conjunction with the Bay Area Crime Stoppers and offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for two incidents of vandalism at the Rectory for the St. Joan of Arc Church at 2421 Cuenca Drive in San Ramon. The first act occurred on June 26, 2011, where the suspect wrote profane words on the garage door with human feces. The second act occurred during the evening of February 19, 2012, where again, the suspect wrote profane words on the garage door with a blue marker. Similar blue marker graffiti was found nearby with the tag/moniker, DES ’12 and AGM.

If you have any information, please contact Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
