4.1 Transportation Commuter Fairs/Events
Darlene Amaral, Transportation Analyst, stated that she attended the East Bay Regional Parks health fair. She also attended the Danville Farmer’s Market to promote 511 Contra Costa programs. Ms. Amaral stated that she has emailed employers about contacting her when planning a transportation commuter event. Chair Weeks stated that Bishop Ranch will be holding more commuter events to promote programs. Chair Weeks stated that Bishop Ranch is working with Carma, a carpool ride matching service, to hold transportation events. Ms. Glaser stated that she has trouble planning a transportation commuter fair, since staff work at many different locations.

4.2 511 CC Countywide Employer Survey
Ms. Amaral stated that the 511 Contra Costa Countywide Employer Survey has received over 4,000 responses. Ms. Amaral stated that some employers have not looked at the surveys, so she has been contacting employers about filling out the survey. Sandy Austin inquired about AT&T’s responses to the survey; Ms. Amaral stated that she has received 731 surveys so far. Ms. Austin stated that she expected more employees to respond to the survey. Mr. Wilson stated that Whole Foods employees may respond to the survey if they are still eligible for an incentive. Ms. Glaser stated that employees have filled out the survey when she asked them to do so. Ms. Austin believes that for the next survey it may be a good idea to hold a transportation event for employees to fill out the survey. Ms. Amaral stated that the survey is currently open, but should be closed soon. Ms. Amaral encouraged committee members to try and send another email to notify employees to fill out the survey. Ms. Amaral stated to remind employees that even if they drive alone to work they can still fill out the survey.
4.3 SB 1339 Bay Area Commuter Benefit Program
Ms. Amaral stated that she will notify the committee members when she receives any new information.
Action Items: Bring update (if any) to next meeting.
5. NEW BUSINESS
5.1 Introduce New Committee Member
Ms. Amaral introduced Cayce Wilson from Whole Foods to the TDM committee members. Mr. Wilson stated that he is happy to be involved with the committee.
Action Items: None.
5.2 TDM Annual Report to City Council
Ms. Amaral stated that the TDM Annual Report goes to the City Council every year, and is basically an overview of the TDM committee. The annual report will be an overview of TDM items covered in 2013, and a work plan covering 2014. Ms. Amaral stated that the TDM Chair usually presents the report.
Action Items: Ms. Amaral to work with the TDM committee on the report.
5.3 2014 EV Showcase – East Bay Clean Cities
Ms. Amaral stated that San Ramon was approached by East Bay Clean Cities to host the 2014 Electrical Vehicle (EV) Showcase. Ms. Amaral stated that she will work with East Bay Clean Cities on a location for the event in San Ramon. The showcase will be on February 20, 2014.
Action Items: Ms. Amaral to work on finding a location for event.
