CAMPAIGN DISCLOSURE STATEMENTS
The California Political Reform Act (Gov. Code § 84100) requires the filing of Campaign Disclosure Statements by any person or combination of persons who will be raising or spending money in local elections, including but not limited to local candidates for elective office, or those supporting or opposing local candidates or ballot measures. Such persons may be required to file the following forms: Form 501-Candidate Intention Statement; Form 410-Statement of Organization; Form 460-Recipient Committee Campaign Statement; Short Form 470-Officeholder/Candidate Campaign Statement; Form 496-24-Hour Independent Expenditure Report; and Form 497-24-Hour Contribution Report. How do I file statements?
Per Ordinance 502, the City implemented an electronic filing system called Campaign Docs to ensure that contributions and expenditures in city elections are disclosed and made available to the public.
The public portal provides information about filers who have officially formed committees. Access to the public portal and committee filer portals may be found below.
For statements between 2018-2019 click here. Statements prior to 2018 are also available for viewing/copying at the City Clerk's Office during regular business hours, or may be requested via email at [email protected]. To preserve the privacy of persons who participate in the political process by making contributions to candidates for elective office, addresses from the Campaign Disclosure Statements have been redacted for the internet version. Unredacted copies are available in the City Clerk’s office for review and copies can be provided at 10 cents per page.

Fair Political Practices Commission Form 806 is used to report additional compensation that officials receive when appointing themselves to positions on committees, boards, or commissions, of a public agency, special district, and joint powers agency or authority.
