About the Instructor:
Michelle Keenan has a background in Early Childhood education since 2014, where her journey started with The City of San Ramon. In combination with volunteering in San Ramon Valley Unified School District (SRVUSD) classrooms and serving two years as PTA President at Bella Vista Elementary in 2018-2020. Ms. Michelle enjoys being part of her community in many heart filled ways. Her immediate love and passion for educating young learners led the path.
Ms. Michelle has and continues to host various Early Childhood classes for the San Ramon community. Offered were Letters and Sounds and Numbers and Shapes. Getting Ready for Pre-School is currently an active class led by Ms. Michelle. Summer Camp learning programs included Kindergarten Prep, Preschool Art Camps, and On The Farm Preschool Camp. As classes had to close due to the pandemic this past year, Ms. Michelle decided to pursue connecting online with preschoolers. This successful virtual online class was a special way for young learners to continue to learn and build friendships during a much needed time for Ms. Michelle as she completed her Early Childhood Education program in 2017.
Ms. Michelle also has worked in Pleasanton with the Pleasanton Unified School District (PUSD) as an Instructional Assistant for grades 1-5 and in Transitional Kindergarten for a well established elementary school in Pleasanton. Ms. Michelle has been part of the San Ramon community since 2008 where she has spent many hours volunteering for her community.
