San Ramon Trail Walks 
All Ages  FREE

Join us for our trail walks led by the San Ramon Open Space Advisory Committee.  On these hikes we will take several breaks to discuss featured nature elements, open space areas, and about the Open Space Advisory Committee.  These hikes are free, however pre-registration is required.  Trails will not be paved, so please wear appropriate footwear.    

Bishop Ranch Open Space Hike 
Saturday, September 14  9:00am-12:00pm  Act #4698 

Led by Open Space Advisory Committee member Aparna Madireddi, this fairly strenuous, 3.5-mile hike will take you from the southernmost end of Morgan Drive, along the Stream View Trail intersecting the Red Tail Hawk Trail and up to an 1,100-foot peak overlooking the entire Tri-valley area, then looping back via the Red Tail Hawk and Grayfox Trail to Morgan Drive. The entire trail is dirt, so please wear appropriate footwear.  Dogs are allowed, however they must be leashed at all times. The walk is free; however pre-registration is required. 

Location – Park at the Grey Fox Trailhead located at the intersection of Morgan Drive and Hawkins Drive.

Las Trampas - Bollinger Creek Trail Loop Hike 
Saturday, October 5 9:00am-12:00pm  Act #4699

Led by Open Space Committee Chair Krista Keller, this partially shaded, moderate 3.5-mile hike will take you from the Las Trampas staging area, along the Bollinger Creek Trail Loop, which winds through the Las Trampas park along the Bollinger Creek and to spectacular overlooks of the East Bay, and loops back to the staging area. The entire trail is dirt, so please wear appropriate footwear. Dogs are allowed, however they must be leashed at all times. The walk is free; however pre-registration is required. 

Location - Park in the Las Trampas staging area parking lot located at the end of Bollinger Canyon Road.
