RECYCLING IS THE LAW IN CALIFORNIA

With the passage of Assembly Bill 341(Chapter 476, Statutes of 2011 [Chesbro, AB 341]), California is one of the first states in the nation to enact a statewide program to conserve natural resources by diverting commercial solid waste from landfills. All businesses and public entities in California that subscribe to four or more cubic yards of garbage service per week are required by State law to implement a recycling program. For more information about AB 341, please visit CalRecycle’s website.
