Below Market Rate Home Ownership Opportunity: 2 Units at Iron Horse Village
Opportunity Drawing Deadline: Tue, Oct 6 at 5 p.m.

Two (2) new units reserved for low-income households have been released for purchase as part of San Ramon’s Below Market Rate (BMR) Home Ownership lottery program with HouseKeys at the Iron Horse Village development. These two are the first of six (6) total BMR units that will be available at Iron Horse Village.
The deadline to submit for this Opportunity Drawing is 5 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.

Not So Spooky Critter Crawl

Last Chance to Provide Input: San Ramon Athletic Field Assessment
Survey Deadline: Sunday, October 4

Residents, athletes, parents, coaches, sports organizations, park users, and people who live near athletic fields are encouraged to participate in the City of San Ramon Athletic Field Utilization Study. Feedback is welcome from current athletic field users, as well as community members who may not currently participate in organized sports.
The Study will help the City better understand how athletic fields are currently being used, whether existing facilities are meeting community needs, and what opportunities may exist to improve field availability, access, scheduling, allocation, and long-term use.
The survey is open through Sunday, October 4.

Personal Emergency Preparedness (PEP) Class
Thursday, October 22 (Family PEP – All Welcome)

What do you personally need in your Emergency Preparedness Kit? Have you wanted to start a kit or create an emergency plan, but have not found the motivation? It's time to find out what YOU need to be ready and respond in a disaster situation.
Personal Emergency Preparedness (PEP) classes are designed for individuals and families (ages 10–110) to learn the importance ofpersonal and homedisaster preparedness, and how to survive after a major emergency. This class will preparethe individual, their home and their familywith the information, supplies and skills needed to be self-sufficient for 7+ days in a disaster.
During thisFREEPEP Class, participants will learn:
- What to do before, during and after a major emergency
- Hazard Mitigation and Utility Control
- Personal and Family Emergency Supplies
- Staying Calm Amid Chaos
Upon completion of the program, participants will have the knowledge and resources to create a home emergency plan, build an emergency kit with supplies, and complete basic emergency response tasks in and around their home.
