San Ramon’s Community Development Department will host the 2026 Community Planning Academy on Monday evenings from September 14 – October 5, 2026, at City Hall. Sessions run from 6:30–9 p.m.
This FREE four-session program introduces residents to how and why cities plan, how planning shapes San Ramon’s growth and character, and how the land use and development review process works. The Academy is designed to help community members better understand the policies, tools, and decision making that guide the city’s future.
Program Details
The Academy will take place on four consecutive Mondays from September 14 – October 5, 2026, from 6:30–9 p.m. at San Ramon City Hall (7000 Bollinger Canyon Road, San Ramon CA 94583). The program is free and open to San Ramon residents aged 18 and older, with space limited to 20 participants. Graduates will be recognized at a future City Council meeting.
