Registration is now open to residents! 

Registration opens to non-residents on  Monday, March 9.

Register online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at sanramonrecguide.com


Register in person
 at the following locations:

  • San Ramon Community Center (12501 Alcosta Blvd)
    Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. (closed at 3:30 p.m. on the 3rd Thursday and last Wednesday of the month)

  • Alcosta Senior & Community Center (9300 Alcosta Blvd)
    Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–3 p.m.

Symphonic Band Concert: Voices of the Land

Symphonic Band Spring Concert

The San Ramon Symphonic Band, conducted by Larry B. Colon, presents Voices of the Land on Friday, March 6 at 7 p.m. at Dougherty Valley Performing Arts Center (10550 Albion Road, San Ramon CA 94582). 

This concert celebrates the natural world and the stories it inspires. Featuring music by Aaron Copland, Rossano Galante, Frank Ticheli, Percy Grainger, and Alfred Reed, this program journeys through wide-open landscapes, towering forests, and timeless folk traditions.

Expressive, energetic, and welcoming to all, this concert invites listeners of every age and background to connect with the land through music that is both powerful and deeply human.

Garden Speaker Series: Landscape Design for Curb Appeal
Saturday, March 14
10 a.m.–noon
Alcosta Senior and Community Center

Garden Speaker Series

Join us for the first of this spring's Garden Speaker Series on Saturday, March 14 at 10 a.m. at the Alcosta Senior and Community Center (9300 Alcosta Blvd, San Ramon CA 94583)!

Landscapers Cyn Coulouthros and Stephanie Brady will speak on Basic Design for Curb Appeal with native plants. Participants are welcome (but not required) to bring photos of photos and/or hand sketched plant maps with basic measurements of their spaces at home if they would like to workshop ideas to try at home during the talk. 

The class is free but pre-registration is required.

Stop by the San Ramon Library (100 Montgomery Street, San Ramon CA 94583) for the Spring Mega Book Sale on Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28 and choose from thousands of gently used books in many genres — most for just $1-5!

On Saturday, March 28 from 2–4 p.m., fill a provided bag for just $10!

Proceeds benefit the San Ramon libraries.

To receive Members-only discounts, join the Foundation online or in the SRLF Bookstore located at the San Ramon Library.


New TRAFFIX School Bus Service: The Preserve to Cal HighTRAFFIX

TRAFFIX has added a new bus stop to an existing bus route (CA17A) serving California High School (CHS) for The Preserve neighborhood. This route expansion will reduce traffic congestion in the vicinity of CHS and provide relief to parents and students who currently drive their students daily to school.

The annual cost for daily TRAFFIX service to/from CHS and The Preserve is $664. Passes for the second semester only have been pro-rated to $400 (started January 8, 2026).

Personal Emergency Preparedness (PEP) Class 
Monday, March 23 (Family PEP - all ages welcome!), 6–9 p.m.
Tuesday, April 28 (Ages 16+), 6–9 p.m.

San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District is pleased to offer Personal Emergency Preparedness (PEP) Classes every month in 2026!

What do you personally need in your Emergency Preparedness Kit? Have you wanted to start a kit or create an emergency plan, but have not found the motivation? It's time to find out what YOU need to be ready and respond in a disaster situation.

PEP is designed for individuals and families (ages 10–110) to learn the importance of personal and home disaster preparedness, and how to survive after a major emergency. This class will prepare the individual, their home and their family with the information, supplies and skills needed to be self-sufficient for 7+ days in a disaster. 

During this  FREE  PEP Class, participants will learn:

  • What to do before, during and after a major emergency
  • Hazard Mitigation and Utility Control
  • Personal and Family Emergency Supplies
  • Staying Calm Amid Chaos

Upon completion of the program, participants will have the knowledge and resources to create a home emergency plan, build an emergency kit with supplies, and complete basic emergency response tasks in and around their home.
