National Night Out

NNO 2025 LogoOn Tuesday, August 5, 2025, neighborhoods throughout San Ramon are being invited to join forces with thousands of communities nationwide for the “42nd Annual National Night Out” crime/drug prevention event. National Night Out, which is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch and co-sponsored locally by the San Ramon Police Department and your Neighborhood Watch Group, will involve over 17,000 communities from all 50 states, U.S. Territories, and military bases around the world.  In all, over 38 million neighbors are expected to participate in “America’s Night Out Against Crime” on August 5.

National Night Out Mascot

From 5:30 to 9:00PM, on August 5, residents in neighborhoods throughout San Ramon are asked to lock your doors, turn on outside lights, and spend the evening outdoors on porches, lawns, and front steps with neighbors and police officers.  Many of our Neighborhood Watch groups are planning special events, such as potlucks, block parties, ice cream socials, and the like.  San Ramon Police and San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District representatives will be visiting registered events during that time, helping you light up the city.

Please mark your calendars for Tuesday, August 5 at 5:30PM.  If you plan to have something special, you have to register no later than Monday, July 25, 2025, so we can be sure your event is on our list to visit. If you have any questions as to how you can help light up San Ramon, please contact Sergeant Todd Feinberg at tfeinberg@sanramon.ca.gov or at 925-973-2767.
