FY26 Budget Adopted

FY26 Budget Process

The City of San Ramon's budget process is complete. 

For the last several months, the City has been developing the operating budget for Fiscal Year 2025/26 (FY26), which begins on July 1, 2025 and ends on June 30, 2026.

The final step of the Budget Process took place as part of the regular City Council Meeting on Tuesday, May 27.

The May 27 Proposed Budget Presentation covered:

  • FY26 All Funds
  • FY26 General Fund
  • Reserve Policy
  • Appropriations Limit
  • Resolution

The City Councilunanimously voted to adopt of the Fiscal Year 2025/26 Proposed Budget by resolution.

The Orchards: Public Meetings Underway
Next Architectural Review Board Meeting: Thursday, June 5 at 2 p.m.

The Orchards (former Chevron Park)

On November 21, 2024, Sunset Development Company submitted formal applications for The Orchards development project located at 6001 Bollinger Canyon Road (formerly the Chevron Corporation Office Park). The applications were deemed complete on March 26, 2025.

The Project is currently being analyzed in relation to local and state standards including the General Plan, Zoning Ordinance, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), etc.

The first public meetings to review the formal applications took place at the Architectural Review Board Meetings on May 1 & May 8

The next public meeting will take place at the Architectural Review Board Meeting on Thursday, June 5 at 2 p.m. (City Hall Training Room, 7000 Bollinger Canyon Road).

Future public meetings with the Planning Commission and City Council will be scheduled around late summer 2025.

Presented in partnership with San Ramon Academy of Music and the City of San Ramon, the Young Virtuosos Concert celebrates the power of performance and community.

All proceeds support arts enrichment programs in San Ramon.

Construction Update: Iron Horse Trail Overcrossing

IHT Overcrossing at Bollinger

Work continues on the Iron Horse Trail Overcrossing at Bollinger Canyon Road. Please see below for anticipated upcoming work and impacts to traffic flow.

Work Recently Completed Through 5/29/25:

  • Handrail / mesh installation
  • Benches
  • Decomposed granite installation

Work Anticipated Through 6/4/25:

  • Continue irrigation, planting and mulch
  • Continue electrical work for lighting - watch for lane closures
  • Punch list items

The Overcrossing will open in Summer 2025.
